15 Toddler Halloween Costume Ideas You Still Have Time to Make

This can be a fun family costume, but it works just as well for the little one himself! Upgrade store-bought adult and kid pumpkin costumes with a few fabric patches. You can either sew on the patches, attach them with fabric glue, or use Stitch Witchery. Wear a long sleeve t-shirt and tights under the costume if it's chilly!

This cute look works for toddlers and older kids alike. Simply adding letters to a black dance leotard turns this bee costume from ho-hum to oh-so-clever! Make the words using iron-on letters, or have a local T-shirt printing shop add them.

Willa Gray, daughter of Thomas Rhett and Lauren Akins, shows off this easy DIY corn costume. Start with a plain green T-shirt and matching leggings or a skirt. Then paint a paper egg carton yellow. Bundle and glue green felt around it to form “husks.” Sew onto shirt. Make the topper by wrapping a neutral-colored headband with raffia to create a corn silk topper.
