Yellowstone fans, the countdown is on!
To kick off the countdown to the Friday, May 15, double-episode premiere of Dutton Ranch, Paramount+ released the official trailer for the Beth and Rip spinoff on Tuesday, May 5. While we’ve all gotten a taste for what to expect with the latest explosive drama within the Yellowstone universe—from the skyscrapers of Austin to the skies of Stagecoach, not to mention a few Instagram teasers in between—this latest drop has fans even further on the edge of their seats.
From the caption of the trailer—“If you were expecting peace… you're on the wrong ranch”—to the montage of moments between Beth (Kelly Reilly), Rip (Cole Hauser), Carter (Finn Little), and newcomers Beulah (Annette Bening), Everett (Ed Harris), Oreana (Natalie Alyn Lind), and Azul (J.R. Villarreal), Dutton Ranch is shaping up to drop jaws, jerk tears, and leave fans fiending for each new episode, week after week.
“Never been more excited for a TV show in my life,” one fan commented on the trailer on Instagram. “There are trailers, and there are trailers. Oh my goodness, I truly cannot wait,” another fan exclaimed. “Who was expecting peace when it involves Beth?” someone else joked.
Something many fans in the comments can’t help but remark on is just how different Dutton Ranch is slated to be from Kayce’s Yellowstone spinoff, Marshals, on CBS. “Well, this trailer alone is better than the entirety of Marshals,” one fan quipped. “This looks like it’s about to blow Marshal’s away,” another fan remarked. This isn’t surprising, though. While fans had high hopes for both Marshals and Dutton Ranch, it’s long been discussed that Marshals would be more of the Western-police procedural spin on the series, while Dutton Ranch is designed to feel like Yellowstone Season 6.
So let this be your reminder: If you’ve been craving Beth’s crazy and Rip’s steadfast, man-in-black strength, all with a side of new faces and shocking storyline turns, be sure to mark your calendars for not one but two hours of Dutton-fueled drama on Friday, May 15.
