David Austin Roses has unveiled its newest rose — the Sir David Beckham Rose (Ausa34b16) — to honour one of Britain's most beloved figures.

Inspired by a gesture from his daughter Harper for his 50th birthday, the delicate white rose features petals gently brushed with blush pink and yellow.

Emboding personal sentiment and natural grace, the rose has a complex, honeyed fragrance, and strong, pollinator-friendly blooms for attracting bees.

Revealing the news on Instagram, the British rose growers said: "Introducing Sir David Beckham (Ausa34b16), a new English Rose of rare beauty, named in honour of one of Britain's most admired figures.

"This rose is a living symbol of love, legacy and admiration. A rose over ten years in the making. A legacy that lasts a lifetime."

The Sir David Beckham rose will be unveiled at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2026. For every sale, £2.50 will be donated to The King's Foundation — a cause close to David's heart.

At the Chelsea Flower Show this year, David Beckham joined King Charles in his role as ambassador to the King's Foundation to celebrate the King's rose. He was photographed alongside the King, wearing the striped rose on his suit jacket.

The former footballer has been embracing the outdoors, regularly sharing his gardening journey on Instagram. He recently planted Queen of Sweden David Austin shrub roses in his garden — a variety known for its soft pink blooms.

David also tends to a thriving vegetable patch and proudly picks homegrown produce, such as onions and carrots.

We can't wait to see how David will grow his own rose next year.
