Easter weekend is on the horizon, and there is no finer opportunity this side of Christmas to bake, decorate and gather together.

Easter is, thankfully, a less-demanding holiday as far as the home is concerned. So, we're perfectly content to gather some branches and blossoms, as well as the odd bunny decoration, for an informal celebration.

This year, we're baking some deceptively simple showstoppers, taking a hopeful punt on fine weather to get outside and tackling a few DIY decorations (and should they fail, we'll be consulting our roundup of the best Easter wreaths.)
