Prince William and Kate Middleton, The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, are looking for a Senior Communications Officer to help with royal duties at Kensington Palace — and there's still time to apply.

Working closely with the Duke and Duchess, the successful candidate will lead communication plans for their Royal Highnesses' engagements and support on the delivery and communication of projects. As well as this, the role will also involve responding to media enquiries on matters related to The Duke and Duchess and their family.

Think this sounds like the right role for you? If you want to apply, you'll have to have strong written communication skills (especially when it comes to press releases and social media content), have a good awareness of the media landscape, great project management skills, and be able to "handle sensitive information" with tact and discretion at all times.

The job description explains: "If you have a love for the Royal Family, a passion for charitable work and sharp communications skills, this role is perfect for you. The job guarantees every day to be different - one day you may be assisting a high profile charitable engagement and the next sipping high tea in Buckingham Palace!"

Based at Kensington Palace, London, the role is full-time. The description also adds that the winning candidate may also be required to help at special media events, plus assistant other Household members when required.

Good luck!
