Crispy Pan-Seared Salmon with Broiled Broccolini and Capers

Simple and delicious, this method yields tender fish and crispy skin that is a delight to eat.

Ingredients

  • 4 (6-ounce) skin-on salmon fillets
  • 1 Tbsp. olive oil, plus more if needed
  • Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • Broiled Broccolini and Capers, for serving (optional)

Directions

    1. Step 1Pat salmon fillets dry with paper towels. Season with salt and pepper. Heat oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Cook salmon, skin side down, until skin is crispy, 5 to 7 minutes. Flip and cook until just cooked through, 1 to 2 minutes. 
    2. Step 2Serve with Broiled Broccolini and Capers, if desired, or your favorite side dish.
