Ingredients
- 1/2 cup half-and-half
- 6 Tbsp. cocoa powder
- 1/4 tsp. Kosher salt
- 4 oz. bittersweet chocolate, chopped
- 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened
- 2 cups powdered sugar
Directions
- Step 1Simmer half-and-half, cocoa powder, and kosher salt in a small saucepan over medium heat, stirring constantly, until smooth, 4 to 5 minutes.
- Step 2Remove from heat and stir in bittersweet chocolate until smooth; cool 5 minutes.
- Step 3Beat butter and powdered sugar on medium speed until fluffy, 2 to 4 minutes.
- Step 4Gradually add chocolate mixture and beat until smooth, 1 to 2 minutes.
