Ingredients
- 2 cups (4 sticks) unsalted butter, at room temperature
- 6 cups sifted confectioners' sugar
- 1 tsp. pure vanilla extract
- Pinch kosher salt
Directions
- Step 1Beat butter with an electric mixer on medium speed until creamy, 1 to 2 minutes. Add sugar, 1/2 cup at a time, beating well and scraping down sides of bowl after each addition. Beat in vanilla and salt.
*Store frosting in an airtight container at room temperature up to 2 days or in the fridge for 2 weeks.
