- Season 4 of ‘Farmer Wants a Wife’ premieres on April 21.
- There are three farmers this season, not four — a change from previous seasons.
- Expect this season to be “more unpredictable than ever.”
Three new hunky farmers are looking for love in a new season of Farmer Wants a Wife, which premieres Tuesday, April 21, on FOX. Braden Pridemore, Brett Maverick and Sean Cavanaugh are the new crop of rugged, chiseled fellas from farmlands across the U.S.
These guys are pretty different — really, the only thing they have in common is their brown hair and the fact that they all like to wear cowboy hats. Each farmer will have their pick from nine women, 27 in total across the three farms. While filming, the ladies stay on property (or nearby) so they can really immerse in the day to day of running a farm with their (potential) man. But because it’s a competition, and there are only three farmers’ hearts to win over, expect friction between the women and a whole lot of kissing up on these men.
FOX says this new season will be “more intimate, more intense and more unpredictable than ever.” Season 4 of FWAW will again be hosted by actress Kimberly Williams-Paisley.
A press release indicates that the drama will heat up when a contestant decides to switch teams, leaving one farmer in the dust in pursuit of another. Another twist that’s new this season? The farmers will be forced to decide if they want to bring in another woman who’s been hand-chosen by their families. Perhaps their families know what’s best? Or perhaps this creates a whole new level of chaos …
Spoiler alert (well, not really): A teaser for the new season reveals that all three of the farmers will find a match in the end.
Who Is FWAW’s Braden Pridemore?
Braden, 25, hails from Homer, Illinois, but he’s taking his search for a partner national on reality television. We’ll see him working hard on his family’s corn and soybean farm this season — he’s a fifth generation farmer! Oh, and he’s also a musician, which should win over at least a few of the women. He says he’s looking for a woman who can be “bold,” which is a “green flag” for him.
Braden’s potential wives: Ana Paula, 26, Brittney, 27, Cameron, 26, Caroline, 24, Carsyn, 25, Casey, 27, Faith, 25, Mackenzie, 25, Nicolette, 28.
Who Is FWAW’s Brett Maverick?
Brett is the oldest farmer this season at 35 years old. He’s a Tennessee boy who used to ride bulls, but now keeps his feet planted in the dirt instead. He tends to his family’s 1000-acre farm while simultaneously growing his own horse and cattle ranch. He’s a self-proclaimed romantic who has already built two successful businesses: One in tequila, one in protein bars. This is sure to be appealing to women looking for a man who’s already established.
Brett’s potential wives: Breauna, 29, Cassi, 29, Hanna, 25, Heather, 30, Julia, 29, Lauren, 29, Paige, 32, Quinn, 26, Stephanie, 31.
Who Is FWAW’s Sean Cavanaugh?
At just 22 years old, Sean is kind of a baby farmer, but he’s mature enough to realize he’s ready to settle down with the love of his life. He’s got the career figured out — he works on his family’s 22-acre produce farm in Solvang, California, supplying local restaurants with fresh farm-to-table food options like figs, kiwis and avocados. That includes his family-owned restaurant, The Gathering Table. He calls himself an “old school and traditional guy” who’s looking for a gal who loves the outdoors and adventure in general.
Sean’s potential wives: Alibeth, 22, Autumn, 24, Brooke, 25, Carson, 25, Emily, 25, Gabriela, 28, Kamryn, 23, Macey, 21, Olivia, 21.
