• ‘The Madison’ was a huge hit on Paramount+.
  • Filming for season 2 has already been completed.
  • Now, the streaming network is announcing more news.

The first season of The Madison was a huge hit for Paramount+, with eight million viewers tuning in to the first episode. It quickly became Taylor Sheridan’s most-watched debut, and fans have been begging for more of the Clyburn family’s story.

Well, the wait is over. Paramount+ officially announced that season two is on the way—and production is already complete. We’ll have to wait for an official release date, but in the meantime, the streaming service dropped even more news: The Madison is renewed for a third season.

The show shared the news on their official Instagram account, and fans are already over the moon with excitement. “How exciting! This is one of the best shows I’ve seen all year. 👏” one fan wrote. Another commented, “This is exactly what my heart needed!🩷🩷” Another viewer stated, “Omg this is brilliant news @themadisonpplus💙💙💙💙💙💙 thank you @paramountplus @paramountplusuk🙏🏻🥹”

Another fan begged, “Please be more than 6 episodes 🙏🏻” and we have to agree!

The cast for the second and third seasons have not been announced, but we expect Michelle Pfeiffer, Kurt Russell, Beau Garrett, Elle Chapman, Patrick J. Adams, Amiah Miller, Alaina Pollack, Ben Schnetzer, Kevin Zegers, Rebecca Spence, and Danielle Vasinova to reprise their roles.

Matthew Fox has stated that he will not return. His character, Paul Clyburn, dies in the first season. While Kurt Russell’s character will return in flashbacks, Matthew said he saw the role as a limited engagement: “That’s one of my requirements these days…I’m at a point in my life where I’d rather pop in and do something interesting, but I don’t want to dedicate six years of my life to something [again].”

Stay tuned for more details on the future of The Madison!
