As an animal lover and LEGO collector, few things make me happier than adding a new brick "pet" to my collection. Last year, I was thrilled to welcome this almost-life-size tuxedo cat into my home (now sitting comfortably next to my pet feeder). And because I can't get enough, my sights have been set on LEGO's new animal builds this year—especially this irresistibly cute golden retriever and orange cat.

These new cuties unsurprisingly keep selling out, but the golden retriever is finally back in stock—probably not for long! As for the orange cat, you'll have to wait 60 days, but you can at least secure yours today.

Otherwise, there are plenty of other LEGO animals you can grab ASAP if your kids are anxious to "adopt" a new pet immediately!

This cute pup is finally back in stock after selling out earlier this year! He can be posed in various ways, like with his paw straight out, ready to shake hands. Adorable!

LEGO Orange Cat

Orange Cat

While last year's tuxedo cat has been undeniably popular, builders have been begging for other colors. Enter this orange cat, which can be customized with different eye colors and a mouth that opens. Some LEGO enthusiasts don't love the fur shade, but I personally think it's cute. It's on backorder, but you can have him in 60 days if you order now.

I got this LEGO cat because it looked so much like my old beloved tuxedo kitty who has crossed the rainbow bridge. You can turn the head, change the tail, and swap the eye color to make it look more like your own beloved feline.

This gorgeous tank is full of life, with finned friends and coral that actually moves with the twist of a button. As an avid LEGO collector who's in the middle of building this, it's among my favorite sets I've ever assembled.

This hamster is as ready for spring as I am! Plus, kiddos can turn these bricks into a hedgehog or eagle, too. While on backorder for 60 days, it's worth securing yours now.

If your kid isn't quite ready for the bigger sets, try this sweet little kitten. It even comes with buildable toys to keep this gray kitty amused. Since this is a Creator set, the same bricks can be used to build a pigeon or dog, too.

At just 326 pieces, this bunny is a simple, beginner-friendly set that's perfect for the Easter season. Then, the bricks can be taken apart and made into a seal or llama, too.

Creator sets are great for imaginative kids who love to build! If you can believe it, the same bricks that make this adorable puppy can also make a squirrel or duck.

This sweet Turkish Angora is practically perfect in every way, and she knows it. The Aristocats scene-stealer comes with a variety of accessories, including a little brush, and makes a great gift for Disney or cat fans.

Yes, this one's from a Disney movie, but he's also just the cutest Dalmatian pup fit for any dog lover. I love the pose and how the tail looks mid-wag—and the tongue sticking out makes it even more irresistible. If you want options, you've got them—you can build this in a sitting position and move the spots and ears to your liking.
