The star-studded Coronation Concert will take place at Windsor Castle on Sunday 7th of May at 8pm.

While the concert is strictly for ticket holders only, you can still watch the event on TV or at the screening site in London (St James's Park), where the concert will be shown on a large screen. Other screening sites around the UK include The Lexicon in Bracknell, Jubilee Square in Brighton, and The Eden Project in Cornwall.

Broadcast live on BBC One, BBC iPlayer, BBC Radio, BBC Sounds and supported across the entire BBC network, the Coronation Concert will bring together musical icons, contemporary acts, a world-class orchestra, entertainers, and a selection of spoken word sequences delivered by stars of the stage and screen.

Stars confirmed to perform include Katy Perry, Take That, Freya Ridings, Lionel Ritchie, Italian opera legend Andrea Bocelli, Olly Murs, Nicole Scherzinger, Welsh star Bryn Terfel, and a special Coronation Choir made up of singing grounds from all around the UK. The Concert will be hosted by Hugh Bonneville, and will feature pre-recorded video sketches from Tom Cruise, Dame Joan Collins, Bear Grylls and Sir Tom Jones.

The Prince of Wales, Prince William, will take to the stage and give a speech at the Concert.

Meanwhile, the beloved literary bear Winnie-the-Pooh will also have a special appearance at the Concert. Similar to Paddington Bear's feature at the Platinum Jubilee, AA Milne's character will feature alongside the videos, sharing facts about the King.

The Coronation Concert will feature a Union Flag-shaped stage, according to mock-up images released by the BBC. With over 20,000 members of the public set to attend, the design of the show aims to embrace the architecture of Windsor Castle. The stage will frame the beautiful Eastern Facade of the castle, featuring multiple levels for the 70-piece orchestra and four additional catwalks that branch out of the flag into the crowd.

The rendered image also shows a halo-like screen that envelops the roof to symbolise The Crown protecting the nation.

Claire Popplewell, Creative Director for BBC Studios Events Productions said: "We think we've come up with a stage which is fitting for an event of such historical and national importance.

"It gives us the perfect base to stage a really wonderful celebration and I hope those either lucky enough to attend in person or the viewers watching from home have a great night and enjoy the party. The live audience will play an important role in the show as well. We hope His Majesty likes it. It's in his back garden!"

King Charles III's Coronation was held on Saturday 6th May 2023 at Westminster Abbey in London. Camilla, Queen Consort, was crowned at the same time during the historic event, which is the first to take place in nearly 70 years following the late Queen's long reign.
