Ella Langley had such an incredible night at the 61st Academy of Country Music Awards that she was at a loss for words when she took the stage for her final trophy.

On Sunday, May 17, the 27-year-old country star arrived at the 2026 ACM Awards at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, hoping to take home at least a few wins for the seven categories she was up for: Song of the Year (for "Choosin' Texas," as both artist and songwriter), Single of the Year (for "Choosin' Texas," as both artist and songwriter), Music Event of the Year ("Don't Mind If I Do" with Riley Green), Artist-Songwriter of the Year, and Female Artist of the Year. And over the course of the night, she swept all seven categories, setting the record for most wins in a year by a single artist. Needless to say, by the time she returned to the stage for Female Artist of the Year, she needed a moment to find the words for such a monumental night.

“I’m tryin’ to get to say something, but I can't,” she began through tears. “Thank you to the women in this category; to the women in this life. This is just a weird thing to do. Today I was having a strange day—I don’t know what it is about awards, but I have strange days in the mornings here—and I walked right into Lainey [Wilson’s] room, and I just got emotional, and she hugged me, wrapped me up, and started praying for me. And then all of a sudden, here comes Miranda Lambert in her little pink hat, and I would not be standing up here without the encouragement of so many women.”

The “Be Her” singer went on to thank Kelsea Ballerini and Lauren Alaina before recognizing her tribe. “Thank you to the women—I would not be standing up here without [them], so thank you,” she concluded her speech.

Ella has had an absolute banner year, and it’s only May. After such a stellar ACM run and her ongoing chart-topping success, one can only imagine how the 2026 CMA Awards may align in her favor.

Ella, this is your moment, and you so deserve all the flowers.
