• The American Music Awards aired on May 25 from Las Vegas.
  • The fan-voted awards show recognized all genres of music, including country.
  • Ella Langley took home the most country awards of the night.

In case you missed it, the American Music Awards aired on May 25. Queen Latifah hosted the event from MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, and, while all music genres were represented, country fans had a few reasons to tune in. Spoiler alert: Like last week’s ACMs, Ella Langley once again brought home the most wins.

Both Keith Urban and Riley Green took the stage to perform, and Darius Rucker was presented with the Veterans Voice Award. Country artists were nominated for some of the top awards, including artist of the year (Morgan Wallen) and best new artist (Ella Langley). And while they didn’t win, there were six country-specific categories for fans to get excited about.
