• Season two of Castle Impossible wrapped up on July 14.
  • The popular HGTV series ended with a sweet gender reveal.
  • Now, fans are hopeful that Daphne and Ian will return for another season.

Castle Impossible just wrapped up its second season after an all-too-short eight episodes, and fans of the HGTV series are left wanting more from the Figs. Daphne and Ian wrapped up the season with a magical gender reveal, and we cannot wait to follow along on their fairy tale.

The popular series follows the endearing couple as they tackle a massive renovation—a 17th-century French château that Daphne inherited when her grandfather passed away. The 130-acre property is truly a labor of love as she and her husband Ian lovingly restore the castle one room at a time. Château de Lésigny is home to their wedding and events business, as well as their growing family.

There’s plenty of work to be done at the château, as Daphne and Ian restore it to its former grandeur. But will the show return for a third season? As a refresher, season one premiered in April 2025 and garnered more than 14 million views. Still, HGTV did not announce that the show had been renewed for a second season until December.

Now, fans are playing the waiting game again. There has been no official announcement from HGTV, but a recent Instagram post is giving viewers a reason to feel optimistic that the show will return.

On July 16, the network’s official Instagram account shared a series of photos of Ian cradling Caillou the cat with the caption, “My only request for next season is that Ian does all his interviews with Caillou.”

The “next season” reference wasn’t lost on social media fans, who left messages like “We need a season 3❣️Updates on squirrels, spa in the dove tower, baby, THE TUNNEL!!! And grandma, and rowdier bachelor parties in the game of thrones tavern…….” and “I love that @hgtv said, ‘for next season’ and not ‘if there is a next season’!!! 🥰🥰🥰”

We will be eagerly awaiting official word. In the meantime, follow Daphne and Ian on The Beau Chateau, their YouTube channel that chronicles their adventures and renovations.
